WHY TRADITIONAL RADIATORS ARE SLOW WITHOUT A BOOST?
Traditional radiators heat a room through a process called natural convection. As the radiator warms up, the air around it heats and slowly rises. Cooler air then replaces it, creating a slow circulation cycle that gradually warms the room.
The PROBLEM is that natural convection is SLOW. Without assistance, it can take a long time for warm air to move away from the radiator and distribute throughout the room. This is why many homes with radiators have an unpleasant heating experience with cold spots and uneven temperatures.
